Grays Bay Major Works RFQ Released
WKR is pleased to announce a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Major Works of the Grays Bay Road and Port Project. The RFQ solicits proposals from construction contractors and engineering firms on a Progressive Design Build (PDB) basis. This is another major step towards construction of the Grays Bay Project. RFQ responses are due July 30, 2026. WKR anticipates annoucing shortlisted respondents on August 28, 2026, issuing a subsequent Request for Proposals in September

WKR is hiring throughout the Kitikmeot Region! We are seeking two (2) Community Liason Officers (CLOs), one based in Cambridge Bay and one based in Kugluktuk. Both CLOs will report to our Comm unity Engagement Lead, Kassidy Koaha-Laube.
